In July 2026 the Commission published harmonised DPP standards under Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1736 and adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1778 for the DPP Registry. The registry infrastructure is now part of the operational horizontal framework, while product-specific obligations still depend on relevant product measures.
The Commission launched the DPP Registry and testing environment following Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1778. Harmonised DPP standards were published through Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1736. Documentary implication: unique identifiers, source history, versioning, storage and persistence become practical implementation questions.
