Where a deeper WEETRA Review is commissioned, the value is not only the conclusion. The reviewed record can preserve how the file was examined, corrected and ultimately supported.
It is the structured record that accompanies the applicable Determination where the mandate includes it. It connects the conclusion to the documents, versions, questions, corrections and professional review that produced it.
Depending on scope and Review depth, it may include the Determination, an Evidence Map, Document Register, Fact Register, identified contradictions and limitations, remediation history, Human Review Record, Evidence Manifest, integrity references and relevant reviewed versions.
Preserve what was received, what changed, what was corrected and what was relied upon.
If the file is questioned later by an adviser, verifier or authority, the reviewed record helps reconstruct what was received, what changed, what was relied upon and what remained limited at the review cut-off.
The package organises and documents the review history. The underlying source evidence remains the underlying evidence, and accredited verification remains the responsibility of the appropriate verification body.
A CBAM file may need to be understood years after the original reporting work. The Determination Package is WEETRA’s way of preserving the reviewed documentary history; it is not a statutory CBAM report.

The Evidence Map connects claims to supporting sources. The Document Register records the materials reviewed. The Fact Register records key reviewed facts. Contradictions & Limitations make unresolved issues explicit. Remediation History shows what was corrected. The Human Review Record documents the relevant human review. The Evidence Manifest and integrity references help identify the reviewed material and versions.
An archive stores files. The Determination Package preserves the reviewed relationships and history needed to understand what those files were used to establish, which version mattered and how material issues were resolved.
The package does not replace original source records, statutory retention duties, accredited verification, legal advice or an authority decision. It is a WEETRA deliverable designed to preserve the reviewed documentary record.
A later reviewer should not have to infer the history from a final spreadsheet alone. The practical value is being able to reconstruct what was received, what changed and what the final conclusion relied upon.
A deeper WEETRA Review can preserve what was received, what conflicted, what changed, what was corrected, what was relied upon and why the conclusion was reached. That history can later support internal review, advisers, accredited verification or authority scrutiny.
Subject to the engagement terms and confidentiality obligations, a client may use the output for internal review, with its adviser, in preparation for accredited verification, or when explaining the reviewed basis to an authority. The recipient remains free to apply its own legal or verification responsibilities.
The scope, cut-off, limitations and reviewed basis should travel with the Determination rather than being separated from it.
A WEETRA output does not guarantee acceptance, replace statutory verification or determine an authority’s decision.
The package organises the reviewed history; it does not replace the client’s underlying source records or legal retention duties.
