The terms governing B2B engagements with Weetra.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These Terms govern B2B engagements with Weetra. Weetra provides independent regulatory evidence review services. Weetra is an independent entity and not a regulatory, customs, or tax authority.
Services may include the CBAM Evidence Check, Documentary Review (Level I), Detailed Documentary Review (Level II) and Detailed Review (Level III), according to the agreed mandate. Weetra provides documentary and evidence review. It does not provide legal representation, customs representation or accredited verification.
Weetra does not guarantee regulatory outcomes, verifier acceptance, customs decisions or authority treatment. A Determination records Weetra’s review conclusion for the defined set of documents, cut-off, depth and mandate. Material outside that scope has not been concluded upon merely because it exists elsewhere.
Weetra retains its methods, controlled review procedures, taxonomies, tools and underlying intellectual property. Subject to payment and confidentiality terms, the client may use and share the issued engagement deliverables for its legitimate internal compliance, advisory, verification-preparation, audit or authority-facing purposes. Recipients remain responsible for their own legal, verification or regulatory functions.
Each party must protect confidential business and documentary information received for the engagement and use it only for the agreed purpose, subject to required disclosures by law and the client’s authorised use of the final deliverables with advisers, verifiers, auditors or authorities.
Weetra’s liability for direct damages arising from the performance of services shall be reasonably limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific Mandate. Weetra excludes liability for indirect damages, loss of profit, or decisions made by competent authorities.
The CBAM Evidence Check is ordered at the published fixed fee. Level I is payable in full at commissioning unless the mandate states otherwise. Level II and Level III fees and payment schedules are agreed in the applicable mandate according to scope and complexity. Late payments may accrue statutory interest and any recovery indemnity required by applicable French law.
Either party may terminate the engagement for material breach upon 15 days’ written notice if uncured. Weetra reserves the right to terminate immediately if falsified evidence is submitted.
Parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If unsuccessful, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the Commercial Court of Paris (Tribunal de Commerce de Paris).
These Terms and all engagements are governed exclusively by the laws of the French Republic.
